President

Yasser Talat

Business Analysis Consultant and Coach, holder of CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), AAC (Agile Analysis Certified) and CPOA (Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis) with more than 20 years of experience in the Information Technology Sector, of which more than 13 years in the Business Analysis field.

Worked for many companies in Egypt including local and international companies and exposed to many types of business, e.g. Electrical Components Management, Stock Markets Information Exchange, Governmental Services and e-payment Solutions. Currently working as a Business Analysis Consultant and Coach for corporates and individuals. Over the past years conducted Business Analysis Training and coaching for multiple groups and helped many individuals pass their Business Analysis certification exams successfully.

Received the IIBA 2021 Volunteer Award for the regions of Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific & India.
 
Yasser is leading the chapter officers and cooperating with them to facilitate chapter activities.
 

Secretary

Muhammad Zaki

Senior Product Owner, holder of CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) and PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) with +3 years of experience in different industries (Fin-tech & Ed-tech mainly).

Graduated from Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering, Systems & Biomedical Engineering Major. I’ve shifted my career from a biomedical engineer to a software engineer in the banking sector and by 2020, I started my Business Analysis career and since then, I’m still discovering new things in the field everyday.

Muhammad acts as our operations director and facilitates the smooth work of the Board as the secretary.

Alamir Ahmed Elsayed

Business management trainer and product analyst for growth marketing services. Holder of Certified Scrum product owner and certified Scrum master(CSPO/CSM) through Scrum alliance. also a project management agile practitioner through the Project Management Institute (PMI-ACP).

With more than 5 years of experience in the business management, digital marketing and data analytics, sales, and Information Technology Sector, of which more than 3 years in the Business Analysis field managing projects in healthcare, financial services, cybersecurity, E-commerce, and GOV-based services.

Over the past years of working with national and international businesses over Europe, the USA, and Australia I helped various businesses with significant growth results through digitizing, automating, and tuning their business process.

Alamir is our Vice President of Finance and he is ensuring the chapter sustainability.

Product Owner and Business Analyst for over 3 years, contributing expertise to a diverse array of projects within e-government services, medical domains, and trade sectors. Academic pursuits have led to proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems).

Passionate about technology trends, deeply vested in product management, marketing, and social media, I have a profound love for analysis. I aspire to leverage these skills to create a meaningful impact in the tech industry and contribute positively to the world.

Taghrid Mahdy

Senior business analyst who is always fascinated by the power of analysis. After my graduation from Cairo university, computer engineering. I began my journey in the software industry as a software developer then later driven by my eagerness to learn more about the business side, I shifted my career to the business analysis field. After which,I started holding online meetups for the practitioners of the field to know each other.

Over the past years, in which I managed digital transformation projects and projects related to public and private sectors. I learned that building a community of enthusiastic analysts where we can share knowledge and expertise is crucial for the future of the software industry in general.

Taghrid is responsible for driving the Chapter's professional development agenda and activities.

Amany Talaat Mohamed

For two decades, She has navigated the ever-shifting landscape of the IT field. My journey began with a deep dive into software testing, exploring diverse industries and meticulously unraveling the logic behind each business solution. This insatiable curiosity led me to Business Analysis seven years ago, where my testing expertise became a powerful springboard. I honed my ability to understand business needs laser-sharp, weaving scenarios with minimal error into the very fabric of software.

My passion lies in bridging the gap between business dreams and digital reality. Armed with my CBAP certification and active involvement in the Egypt Chapter as a good start, then kept acting as a member in the Egypt chapter & activities related to spreading the value of business analysis.
